GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an oval. • Draw 1 horizontal line above the head. Add 1 more line at head height distance. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 2 more lines at the height of the head. • On the left and right sides of the head, draw a vertical line. Draw from them to the sides: -on the left, 1 line further 1/6 of the width of the head; -on the right,1 line equal to the width of the head.

STEP 7. Detail the drawing. Add more hair on the head. Draw pleats on the dress. Add some creases on the body.
