How to draw an alarm clock
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

STEP 1. Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw a line, which will serve as the center of the alarm clock.
STEP 2. Draw a large oval, taking into account its position, and outline the width of the clock body. Sketch lines to denote the centers of bells.
STEP 3. Outline the rear part of the clock body. Mark the middle of the clock face and its legs.
STEP 4. Delineate the shapes of the legs, the dial-plate and the insides of the bells.
STEP 5. Mark with an oval the depth of the alarm clock face. Outline a handle and the upper parts of the bells.
STEP 6. Draw some additional lines to add detail to the bells and the handle of the clock. Draw a guide for the hands and further details on the body.
STEP 7. Draw the alarm clock hands and the lower part of the handle, paying special attention to parts and components.
STEP 8. Contour, trying to vary the thickness and blackness of the line. Add further details and the general shape of the table. Erase all guidelines.
